My favorite festivity🎇🎉

The celebration of the new year is my favorite festivity, because a new cycle begins to perform new tasks and challenges. The celebration begins on December 31, and when the clock strikes twelve o'clock, a new year begins on January 1. Its origin comes from the Gregorian calendar, established by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582. From that date to the present, we continue to use the Gregorian calendar. Together with my family, we perform rituals to welcome the new year, such as eating grapes, eating lentils, wearing yellow underwear and sharing a piece of fig tree for prosperity among all the participants. I like to celebrate the New Year because of the festive atmosphere that is generated, people dancing, sharing a drink and celebrating the end of a year and the beginning of a new one.
